Joel Larkins is a managing director and the Regional Head of Asset Management, Americas for Partners Group, and he leads the Houston office. Partners Group is a leading global private markets investment manager based on Switzerland, with USD 146 billion in assets under management.
Mr. Larkins is responsible for ensuring successful execution of key strategic initiatives at portfolio companies and providing board-level oversight. He serves on the board of directors of Partners Group (USA) Inc. and Seabras Group (the holding company for a US-to-Brazil subsea fiber optic cable system). Joel has 30 years of experience operating infrastructure assets.
Prior to joining Partners Group, Joel held technical, commercial, and strategic roles at Andeavor (acquired by Marathon Petroleum), AES, Reliant Energy, LyondellBasell, and ExxonMobil. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from Stanford University.
