Seaborn Networks Announces Sean McNeill as Incoming CEO; Leadership Transition Effective July 17

Seaborn Networks, a leading developer, owner, and operator of submarine fiber optic cable systems, today announced that Sean McNeill will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective July 17, 2026, as part of a planned leadership transition that reinforces the Company’s long-term strategy and continued growth.

Until that date, Steve Orlando will remain in his role as CEO, continuing to lead the Company’s operations. On July 17, Steve will step down to pursue a new professional opportunity after five years of leading Seaborn. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in strengthening Seaborn’s position as one of the leading digital infrastructure providers across the Americas, driving innovation, operational excellence, and a strong customer-focused culture.

A Leader Built Within Seaborn

Sean McNeill has been with Seaborn since 2016 and has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since 2020. Throughout his tenure, he has played a key role in the Company’s strategic decision-making, leading financial initiatives, expansion projects, and efforts focused on operational efficiency and sustainable growth.

His appointment was unanimously approved by Seaborn’s Board of Directors following a comprehensive succession planning process, recognizing his leadership, deep understanding of the business, and significant contributions to the Company’s success.
